1. The app
Poof is a tool for browsing your phone's photo library and choosing which items you want your phone to delete. Poof itself does not delete anything — it queues items, then asks the operating system to perform the deletion. Your phone shows its own confirmation dialog at that step.
2. Your responsibility
- You are responsible for what you delete. Once items leave your phone's Recently Deleted / Trash folder (typically after 30 days), they cannot be recovered.
- Back up important photos. We strongly recommend an iCloud, Google Photos, or other cloud backup before doing any large cleanup.
- Restoration window. Items you delete through Poof go to your phone's standard Recently Deleted album, where you can restore them for the duration set by your operating system.
3. No warranty
Poof is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be free of bugs, that it will work on every device, or that it will be uninterrupted.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of Poof is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to loss of photos, videos, or data — arising out of or in connection with your use of the app.
5. Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the app in ways that violate the App Store / Google Play terms. Don't use Poof to delete content that isn't yours to delete.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new terms.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the developer's home jurisdiction.
